Samsung Galaxy S4 Gets New Render, Teaser and AnTuTu Benchmark (Video)

The folks of Yugatech have come up with a new render for the Samsung Galaxy S4 on the day when Samsung decided to post the video below on the web, teasing us about the big event from next week, the one where Samsung will announced its big flagship.

Also, by the way, benchmarks for the device have just been leaked and the AnTuTu screenshots here give us a good picture of what the next flagship will bring. We’re going to be seeing a polycarbonate body Galaxy S4, with a rectangular form factor, like the Galaxy S II and with a Full HD Super AMOLED display or maybe a SoLux one. Although recently rumors have claimed we’ll see a Snapdragon 600 on the Galaxy S4, it seems that an Exynos 5 Octa is still in the cards, if benchmarks are to be believed.

The camera will most likely be a 13 megapixel affair, as for the software, it will be Android 4.2 with a new TouchWiz. The device debuts on March 14th during a special Samsung event in New York. It may go on sale as soon as April and as far as pricing goes, we really have no idea about that. What are your wishes for this device?

iPhone 6 Render Involves 4.2 Inch Display, More Compact Case (Video)

The latest iPhone 6 design comes from Russia, courtesy of AppleInsider.ru, who also did a video of the device. We’re dealing with a thinner and lighter iPhone, that also packs a bigger display, stereo speakers and offers multiple color options.

(Video)
This iPhone 6 involves a wider case than the iPhone 5 and also thinner bezels, plus a thinner case. The device measures 108.5 mm x 55.7 mm x 7.1 mm and it weighs 104 grams, which is very light. Apple is also said to use the iPad Mini screen technology to avoid page turns done by mistake via screen touches, caused by the tiny bezels. Also, notice the lack of a Home button, making the handset even more compact.
Gesture or motion controls will replace that and maybe even palm gestures. The iPhone 6 with 4.2 inch display gets to keep the same 1136 x 640 pixel resolution as the iPhone 5, keeping the developers less busy with a new resolution for their apps. Of course, in the future we’ll see a jump in res, but not right now. What’s next? A 4.8 inch iPhone obviously, with a Full HD resolution!

New iWatch Render by Tolga Tuncer is Fancy and Classy

Designer Tolga Tuncer has a new vision of the Apple iWatch, as shown below. We’re dealing with a concept Apple watch, one that is able to communicate with the cloud and sync with the iPad, iPhone, iMac and MacBook easily.
New iWatch Render by Tolga Tuncer is Fancy and Classy
The slim concept iWatch features a non touchscreen OLED display, plus a slim touchpad, an interesting idea if you ask me. Everyone is dreaming of a totally touchscreen-based watch and instead we get a slim touchpad with MP3 controls at the lower end of the body. The whole thing is 3.3 cm wide and includes several sections that are attached to a flexible bracelet body.
Powering up the device there’s a high performance solar cell and the touchpad is an aluminum one. Since we’re not dealing with a touchscreen watch, the unit is very slim and there are no smudges on the curved glass. Simplicity is something that Apple likes, but are they able to frustrate us of the much craved touch?

iPhone 5S Render Involves a Quad Core Apple A7 CPU, 4.7 Inch Retina Display

There’s a new iPhone concept in town, one designed by Deviantart user TheTechnoToast and shown below. This model brings OS virtualization and widgets, plus a totally different design compared to what you’re used to.

 Display
This is the iPhone 5S and the OS virtualization thing allows the iPhone to access a Macintosh you own or install the entire OS X platform. The iPhone can automatically optimize the OS for mobile thanks to this method. The Finder will be resizable and customizable and the iPhone 5S also brings homescreens and widgets, thousands of them actually.
Specs include a case made of anodized aluminum, a quad core Apple A7 processor at 1.8 GHz, 2 GB of RAM and a 4.7 inch Retina Display, showing 60 FPS at any time. As far as cameras go, the front one is 3 MP and the back one 14 megapixels. The device runs iOS 7.0 and the iPhone 5S speakers are on the top rear of the device, with the handset being similar to the iMac’s design. So, do you think this model is doable and if not, why?
